We can provide:
1. We have a radio station, WNSH AM 1570. Visit www.wnsh.com for details about our radio signal. WNSH has a 30 KW signal that covers nearly 2 million folks around Boston and Cape Cod.
We make it easy. We call you weekly and have a ten or fifteen minute phone interview, then we add some popular music and the show goes on the air. As a student, you need to have a particular interest, such as an era in history, some form of literature, or perhaps a certain category of charity. You could even have an interest in a sport or sports team. You do need to have enough information so that our weekly interview makes some sense. For academic subjects, each week’s discussion can be listed as a separate item on an application or resume. Your show will be broadcast on an Internet radio station as well, and your web site will have your shows available for download.
In short, this show, an half hour each week, will establish your reputation as an active follower of that particular subject, and a person with enough expertise on the subject to have a show. The idea is not necessarily to build an audience, but to establish your reputation as radio host with some expertise.
2. We send 100 personal letters a month (or 300 personal letters over three months in different quantities each month). Some letters can go to family and friends, and some letters can go to folks who can help you get to your goals, college admission or a job. You can discuss the show, or simply say something friendly.
Each letter appears hand addressed, with a USPS first class stamp on each executive size envelope. Each letter has your complete return address, and a brief one or two sentence comment.
3. We also provide a simple web site, if needed, and a social site on Facebook, and make routine entries to push the radio show.
